Let me share with you what I believe is the best way for you to do this.

Centipedes drive you crazy, they drive me crazy too. The way they crawl and move, the shape of their bodies is absolutely horrifying.

How about the speed at which they can run? Did you know they can run along walls and ceilings at the same speed, creepy!

So your asking how do you get rid of them because you'd like to, but you don't want to break the bank by spending hundreds of dollars on an exterminator. I get it...

This gets worse by the fact that relying on an exterminator to get rid of your Centipedes one year, the problem might repeat itself in the next. You've now committed to spending how much each year just on getting rid of Centipedes? I don't think so.

Knowing how do you get rid of Centipedes in a cost effective way is the secret.

Their are cost effective options. Sealing off your home to prevent insects from getting in is a good step.

Simply go around your house and seal up any cracks you find.

If your door doesn't sit right, keep a towel wedged under it to prevent any insects from getting in.

They need insects to eat, so while keeping Centipedes from getting in, the ones on the inside are starving and dying. This is an effective strategy all around, which is why I recommend it as step one.

Also move away the garbage cans from your house, or any piles of leaves or anything else. These things provide shelter from the sun for the Centipedes, which prefer dark and damp places.

Don't give these Centipedes a home, they aren't welcome and they creep me out!
