Do you think the new Pride FC owner's will still keep the things that make Pride what it is?

For me, Pride was special because it wasn't about wins and losses. It was about the fighters character. UFC is more about wins and losses. Example, so what if Wanderlei Silva lost to fights in a row by knockout, they were both great fights and his stock has not gone down in my book. A lot of my favorite fighters at Pride were cut by UFC. Will they keep the two seperate in those regards? UFC and Pride are different and I wonder what changes they will make. Will they still keep the things that make Pride special?
I hope they keep these two things the same:
1. Pride blue gloves (I don't like the big UFC logo on the UFC black gloves)
2. The ring with white ropes (more advertising ?)

I agree with u that Pride(and the Japanese audience) seemed more tolerant of a good fighter losing a couple of matches. As long as he showed the warrior spirit, losing wasn't the worst thing that could happen.

I loved seeing the fights with weight mismatches(fan of Minowa fighting bigger guys, even if he lost), tournaments(especially open-weight), some fighters wearing gis(appropriate for Japan), knees and stomps and soccer kicks to the head of a downed opponent. Also, there is an upper weight limit in the UFC heavyweight division----there was none in Pride.
To what ever extent these will be lost, to me, it is a shame.
